We find orcas in Tysfjord last friday , good to see them again :-) It was probely the same family we had last season ( 2008 ) split up in three groups, but anyway it was nice and a good feeling to see them close to us.
The last week this group have been around and been seeing diffrent places in aeria.
Yesterday was very windy , strong gale black sea and white tops make it difficult to find them, but we had a good nature trip anyway with snow in mountains top, sun and eagels hanging over for a while us in Tysfjord

Idag har en grupp på 10 späckhuggare setts utanför Tysfjord, idag var det Per Ole som var ute med turister med båten Strönstad som fick se dem!!Bild kommer senare......

Under sex dagar följer vi sillstimmen - och späckhuggarna.
Varje dag har du chansen att se, fotgrafera och njuta av att se späckhuggarna i aktion.

We are cooperating with www.lofoten-opplevelser.no and they have a RiB boat - they have long experience in snorkelling with orcas. They has been a partner in whale watching since 1997 (Tysfjord and Vestfjord).

Jeg Per Ole Lund f. 1950 er utdannet Kaptein og har bakgrunn i sjøyrket siden 1965.
Startet Spekkhoggersafari som den første aktør på Spekkhoggere i 1992 i samarbeid med Tysfjord Turistsenter , og var senere med å utvikle Orca Tysfjord. Dette er fortsatt ett samarbeid.
Per Ole Lund, jobbet to sesonger på Sognefjorden for Norway Fjordcruise AS som var operatør for to turistbåter tilhørende Robinson Scandinavia, Gjøvik.
Videre ble det i 2003 en sesong på Svalbard med båt for Spitra på Svalbard/Isfjorden med turister.
Gjorde i sommersesongene 95/96 4 forsøksturer med overnattingsturister på båt med ukecruise fra Bodø til Andenes, samt ett tokt til Shetland –Orkenøyene og ett tokt i 1998
Til Vestkysten av Svalbard med overnattingsgjester om bord.
Var Skipper på M/s " Leonora " som 20% medeier i Vestfjord Cruise AS fra 2003 til 2006 som kjørte spekkhogger safari for Orca Tysfjord og Safari på Stø for Whale Tours AS som i 2006 ble slått sammen med Arctic Whale Tours som var registrert på Per Ole Lund.

Vinterns turer jan-feb 2010
Per Ole Lund is the grand old man in the Norwegian whale watching. He started Killer Whale Safari in 1992 cooperating with Turristcenter in Tysfjord and together they started Orca Tysfjord. He has long experience in whale watching - both at winter and summertime.
The situation with the Orcas has changed the last couples of years; the herring does not go into the fjords any longer.
This winter season Per Ole will organize whale expeditions in his own company - Lund Nature cruise.
We will follow the Orcas - star in Bodø in the beginning of the season and later start in Kristiandsund. Than we have a great possibility to follow the herring - and the Orcas.
